Mando Rayo is a native Texan and cultural storyteller who has established himself as a pillar in his community. His impressive resume includes many titles: Taco Journalist, James Beard Award nominee, executive producer, television and podcast host, author and more.
Edgar Rico is the chef and owner of Nixta Taqueria in Austin, Texas. He was recently honored with the 2022 James Beard Award for Emerging Chef. Rico learned the process of nixtamalization from his relatives in Mexico and incorporates this tradition into his otherwise non-traditional dishes, like duck fat carnitas.

Luis Angulo (Uloang) is a muralist who emigrated from Venezuela to the United States at age 13. Now, over 20 years later, he explores his identity through his street art. Luis is also the owner of Something Cool Studios, an artist collective in East Austin that encourages local creators to connect with their community.
Vanessa Del Fierro is the founder of Las Coronelas, an All-Female Mariachi Band that tours and performs across the country. The artists are celebrated for bringing strong, female voices to the traditionally male-dominated world of Mariachi music.
